  • suzannepicSuzanne D’Aunoy Meehle is a self-described serial entrepreneur. While in college in her hometown of Huntsville, Alabama, she turned her love of cooking into a side business, catering small weddings and parties.

“I think I was bitten by the entrepreneurial bug back then,” Suzanne says. “I loved building my catering business on the side. If I hadn’t moved away I might still be baking dozens of cheesecakes every Holiday Season.”

After college, Suzanne built a career as a Software Systems Engineer and Database Administrator for healthcare and technology firms. She also built a business as an independent contractor and consultant, serving clients such as OrlandoJobs.com, Office Depot and VeArd Computer Research.

  • shannonpicAttorney Shannon N. Davis always wanted to be a lawyer. "When I was six, I wrote a cliché letter: I said I was going to be a doctor, a lawyer AND a baker. That was my goal when I was six."

Two out of three isn't bad. Shannon is an accomplished baker, lavishing cupcakes and other treats on her family and friends, and, of course a lawyer. For now, med school will have to wait!

The 2010 graduate of Barry University School of Law in Orlando, Florida took a detour on her path to becoming a lawyer, spending a few years after graduating with her B.A. in Music from Rollins College in Winter Park as a teacher and tutor for middle school students. Shannon had a real passion for education, helping her students dramatically improve their FCAT match scores. In addition, Shannon is an accomplished Jazz vocalist and musician who freely volunteers her time to her church's music and arts ministries.
